Your next challenge
- Ensure effective integration of SAP Datasphere with other systems, focusing on real-time ODBC integrations
- Create agnostic data models that support various data sources while ensuring consistency and accuracy
- Implement real-time data replication solutions to ensure timely and accurate data availability
- Provide practical advice on the use of tables versus views
- Support the management of access controls
- Advise on the most appropriate approach to handle data within Datasphere, whether garbage in-garbage out views or managing data flows to prevent failures due to data errors
- Coach relevant IT teams on best practices for SAP Datasphere use and configuration
- Provide ad hoc additional help on some technical implementations in SAP Datasphere
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders (IT and Business) to ensure their data-related needs are met
Your skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Data Engineer in SAP environment or similar role
- Strong understanding of SAP Datasphere and related SAP modules and functionalities
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, particularly in data integration, governance, and management
- We are seeking a data engineer focused on data management and integration tasks, and not a Business Intelligence (BI) expert with visualization skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results within deadlines
