We are looking for a Senior Application Support for a fixed-term contract (6 months) 😎
The Sr. Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing high-level and efficient end-user support in the use of technology and applications. The person will resolve issues where possible and will coordinate the resolution of more complex problems with other the EU Service Desk team and groups in the Central IT department. Includes hands-on and remote support.
Helpdesk Support
- Provide end-user support
- Escalate issues to other IT groups or outside vendors as appropriate.
- Assist users with use of desktop operating systems and application software including, but not limited to, and subject to change: Desktop O/S – Windows / MacOS; Microsoft Office; Exchange user administration; Intune; Cloud Storage; Teams; Mobile Device support.
- BeyondTrust (remote desktop connection)
- Remote access support (VPN, and AVD)
- Active Directory user and device administration
- VoIP support for users
- Teleconference user and property setup
- Develop and provide end-user training
Hardware/Software
- Desktop, laptop and printer hardware support
- Computer equipment purchasing
- New workstation configurations and setup - Intune
- Peripheral Support including the following: local and network printers; mobile device configuration and support
- Limited server and network/router troubleshooting/support - smart hands
Skills/Experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Must be able to fluently communicate in English
- Proficient with Windows desktop/laptop operating systems
- Proficient with configurations and setup of PC's, printers, and mobile devices
- Working knowledge of Windows network operating system and Active Directory
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook
- Experience with Help Desk software
- 5 years minimum in helpdesk and end-user support
